Build your empire across the continent

A property-trading board game for up to six players. Play solo against bots with their own personalities, or online with friends and strangers. Classic games run until one player is left; Jollof games are short, timed and won by the richest. Living cities shake up the rents as you play, and the Griot keeps the story going.

A match in its first round in the macOS build: African cities set around a square circuit with their rents priced in cowries, four players seated with 1,500 each, and the dice waiting on the player's turn.
The macOS build. Afropoly also runs on Android and iOS.

Playing on your own is free, and there are no ads. Online play, private rooms and a few extras are part of Afropoly Club, a subscription that starts with a free trial.

The cowries in Afropoly are play money. They have no value outside the game, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for anything real, and are not a prize. Afropoly is not gambling and involves no real-money betting of any kind.

What is in it

Play your way
A quick match against players online with empty seats filled by bots, a private room with friends, or solo against bots with their own personalities.
Afropoly Club
Afropoly Club adds Quick Match, hosting and joining private rooms, Hard bots and house rules. Solo games against Easy and Normal bots, in Classic or Jollof, stay free without the Club.
Jollof mode
Twelve rounds and thirty-second turns. The richest player wins — short, a little heated, and over before the rice gets cold.
Living cities
Market days, festivals and harmattan winds change the rents mid-game, so no two tables play the same.
The Griot
A narrator who comments on the big moments, while players send quick reactions across the table.
